SALARY RANGE: $83,150-$97,700
SUMMARY: The PPA Communications Manager supports PPA’s marketing and communications
efforts, promoting the organization’s contributions to the procurement community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Draft marketing and membership email content and build emails for multiple PPA teams
utilizing PPA’s CRM and AMS platforms.
• Update and maintain all marketing contact lists and segments.
• Create and maintain a content calendar for social media posts, email marketing
campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and other assignments.
• Help create and distribute marketing and communications plans for individual events.
• Help create/edit event scripts and presentations.
• Support onsite video production and photography.
• Participate in the development of PPA educational, membership, cooperative, and
marketing resources.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and other staff to ensure information flow and
adherence to goals, policies, budget, and timelines.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments; with the ability to work as an
individual contributor as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Education
o Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related field.
• Experience
o 3-4 years of professional experience communications, marketing or related field.
o Preferred: Experience at a start-up organization.
o Preferred: Basic understanding of procurement.
• Qualifications
o Experience with email building, tracking, and reporting platforms.
o Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
o Time management skills; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and
projects.
