Job Summary: The Systems Administrator (PPA) will assist the NASPO IT Operations Manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core IT infrastructure for a newly established organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with PPA senior staff, third party consultants, and NASPO IT leadership to architect and administer PPA’s cloud-based services. You will be hands-on with technologies like Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint/OneDrive, and more, helping to turn strategic IT goals into reality.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable and willing to wear many hats, and excited by the challenge of building a modern IT environment from the ground up.

Essential Functions:

· Oversee the Microsoft 365 environment and policies, including:

o Entra ID

o Exchange

o SharePoint

o Intune

o Purview

o Defender

· Integration development using the Workato iPaaS solution.

o Designing and building integrations using native Workato connectors

o Developing custom integrations using APIs, SDKs, and scripting (e.g., JavaScript/HTTP, JSON, XML)

o Configuring data transformations, mappings, and business logic within Workato recipes

o Implementing error handling, exception management, and retries for reliability

o Testing, validating, and troubleshooting integrations to ensure accuracy and performance

o Documenting integration flows, dependencies, and technical specifications

· Oversee the daily functioning, security, and growth of the IT hardware and software infrastructure for PPA/RFxP, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Includes:

o Building and managing the operation and security of various SaaS applications.

o Building and managing the integrations and uptime of integrations between systems.

o Researching and recommending hardware and software changes to improve system configurations, performance, reliability, and scalability to meet evolving business needs

o Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to PPA.

o Onboard and train users in the use of hardware and software.

· Work alongside the NASPO IT Operations Manager in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and services for PPA to ensure compliance with the organization’s long-term IT strategy and overall goals.

· Collaborate closely with third party consultants, vendors, and service providers to plan, acquire, document, and manage technology solutions and associated contract relationships.

· Proactively collaborate with internal departments and senior staff to understand their IT needs and ensure that the provided hardware and cloud software solutions align with organizational objectives.

· Coordinate and execute regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to PPA and NASPO IT systems to ensure optimal performance.

· Serve as tier 2 support for reported tickets and incidents with PPA and NASPO systems.

· Assist with technology support for PPA and NASPO programs, conferences, and events.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally.

· Associate’s degree and/or 5 years if applicable experience

· Microsoft certifications a plus (hardware/software tech support preferable)

· SaaS application configuration experience a plus

Travel Requirements:

· Intermittent travel to company events will be required.
